If you've read the About This Site page, you know how we feel about this site's name. Frankly, it's kinda lame.
We couldn't really think of anything else at the time that was available. So, we're making a new year's resolution now - before the New Year - in the hopes that we can start the New Year off fresh. In style. With a new name.
Yes, a new name. Here's what we're looking for:
- We're looking for something short, sweet, and relevant.
- Something in the English language, please (made-up words are fine).
- Something that's available.
Available? Yes, available. Turns out that's pretty important. Right now this site's URL (http://vinoclock.blogspot.com/) is tied to Blogger. But it doesn't have to be. And we're hoping to give it it's own private .com URL like bigfatlush.com or ruawino.com. But not winesnob.com, not oenophile.com, or 1bottleatatime.com - not even vinoclock.com.
Why not? Because they're all being squatted on. Jeez, even Rumpelstiltskin.com is being squatted on. So, as it turns out, availability's the trick. Most of the obvious ones are taken already. That's why we need your help. Determining availability is easy. Just check the http://www.checkdomain.com/ website. It'll tell you if it's still available or who the dumbass is that's squatting on it.
So, 'What's in it for me?', you ask? You mean aside from the warm fuzzy feeling you'll get? Aside from the public recognition and adoration you'll get right here on this world famous site? You mean what, beyond the sense of fulfillment your heart is yearning for, is in it for you?
