Every once in a while a deal comes along that you can't keep to yourself. It just wouldn't be fair.
A couple of months ago we reviewed the 2008 Quattro Mani Montepulciano. Our rating said:
Rating: Happiness red. Yummy, with or without food. Everything you love about Italian wine without any of the hard edges. Lots to like about this wine, especially at this price.
But this isn't stuff you're going to come across in your local grocery store. We've had chance encounters with it in Chicago and Columbus, and recently came across it again at one of our favorite online spots.
Marketview Liquor, a fantastic wine shop in Rochester, NY, is one of our favorite retailers. They have an unbelievable selection, helpful staff, reasonable shipping fees, and some pretty serious deals on occasion.
Including this wine. At $8.99, we couldn't just sit on this.
