If you are even a little bit curious/inclined towards rosé, start here. Unlike most of the other wines covered this week, this deep, richly-hued wine is made from Cab and Merlot - and it shows. It's also from the stellar 2009 vintage. The fruit-intense nose brings brief worries of flabbiness, but only for a moment as the palate dispels those concerns by carrying itself with poise. Balance perfected, refreshment incarnate, and impossible to mistake as a whimsy, this delicious wine delivers on the 09 vintage's promise and is about as much as you could hope for from a rosé. Bravo. And at $10, bravo again.
