We warp the week with another 09 from Bordeaux. Certainly not the outperformer the Mayne is, the Garrineau still gives more than most for $10. Pale with an unusual tinge of beige. Subtle, pretty flowers and fruit on the nose. Lean, almost austere body that lacks neither acidic structure or character. But this character is distinctly French - and thus isn't smiling.
