2009 Bonacchi Chianti Classico $12
God, I love a good find. Thanks to a local retailer's recommendation, this terrific bargain made for a lovely accompaniment to a Sunday evening osso bucco. Overdelievering on many fronts, this Chianti is appealing for its full frontal fruit and honest acidity. Good to go from cork's pull, it's tough to put down. And, seriously, good luck finding another Chianti Classico of this caliber at this price. Easily outclassed a pricier Coltibuono Chianti Classico we also had opened.
