Here's an unexpected treat: Piedmontese purity and a ballerina's balance for $15.99. Declassified nebbiolo (not Barolo or Barbaresco) can at times be muddled and directionless. Not so here. Though it needs some time decanted, patience is rewarded and then some. Look for bright, lean red fruit buttressed by classic Langhe acidity that all but sings. A terrific experience for the price.
