Somewhere between salmon and beige in the glass, this highly aromatic rosé of pinot noir is anything but shy. First impressions maintain throughout, as the attack delivers the complete package you'd expect from a red wine. Bordering on assertive, but elegant nonetheless, the acidity and spices characteristic in pinot new are grown at altitude (leaner, more structured, and pretty) are easy to appreciate. It's muscularity will make for terrific versatility, and should go with anything from porch conversation to poultry, or even grilled burgers. Even better is its moderate octane level (13%.) Made from organically-formed grapes grown at 4,000 feet above sea level. Perhaps pricier than you might want to pay for an Argentinian rosé, but its quality is indisputable. 89 Points (Sample)
