Though not all of their wines resonate with me stylistically, Domaine Bousquet's attention to quality is evident across their entire portfolio of wine. Yet more evidence of this is their entry-level cabernet, which, at $13, represents an astonishing value. Pretty and simple in a companionable way, it's got lots of fresh berry flavors, floral-forward aromatics, and a nice little acidic quench to lend structure and food-friendliness. Organic farming shines through, resulting in honesty and purity you can taste. Very easy to drink. What more can you ask for, especially at this price?
