A 90% Cabernet Sauvignon topped off with 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Carmenere and 1% Petit Verdot, all from a vineyard in the Palmilla DO, a low-lying area of Colchagua where the Tinguinirica River merges with the Chimbarongo estuary. A clay-rich layer of soil sits atop a seam of gravel that, despite the higher temperatures of the area, results in a fresh, ripe red with a range of red and black fruit, voluminous tannins and a granulated texture from the clay soils.
