There's a lot to like in the 2018 Chateau Ribebon Reserve Bordeaux Superieur $13. Thanks to its 50% merlot composition, it's ready to drink right this minute. And because the other half is split between cab sauv and cab franc, (and given 18 months in barrel) this wine has way more poise and sophistication than its price tag would suggest. My guess is that it'll shrug off it's youthfulness in exchange for grace and elegance over the coming decade. Available in magnums right now on WTSO for an exceedingly reasonable $26 (per 1.5L).
