Maine Beer company makes good beer. Very good beer. And they don't need fancy packaging to market it. I mean, just look at this bottle! A mission-driven organization, Maine Beer Company seeks to do good through great beer.
A friend recently returned from an east coast vacation where he dragged his family from one brewery to another. Along the way they hit Maine Beer Company in Freeport. He returned with a bottle of Dinner Double IPA (8.2%) for me - and with wide-eyed stories of the facility. Covered in solar panels with a beautiful tasting room, it is apparently something to behold, to say nothing of the beer. It's gorgeous. Honest, clean, focused, and refreshing, this DIPA drinks as easily as a lager. One sip and you'll be glad to be alive. And on the hunt for more.
